IMPORTANT
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Effective April 1, 2012 the Angus Campbell Centre will provide
its detox, addictions treatment and transition services on a
fee-for-service basis as a non-profit charitable society, and as
an approved facility certified by Certifications Canada (expires
November 2014). We subscribe to the tenets of the official
Saskatchewan Model of Addiction Services.
The 14 day detox and pre-treatment program will remain much as
it is now. The pre-treatment program for the past 35 years has
been based on abstinence, the Minnesota Model of addictions
treatment, which borrows heavily from the 12 step program, along
with Saskatchewan modules, some of which recognize the
distinctive needs of our First Nations people.
The 42 day detox and treatment program will use a modified
version of the above program plus the widely used 28-day
Hazelden Treatment Program, also based on abstinence and the
evidence-based 12 step recovery program, plus appropriate
modifications for Saskatchewan. Both programs include best
practices. This full treatment program will be delivered by
addictions professionals with post secondary credentials, plus
our staff members, all of whom are registered with CACCF
(Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation).
Of course, we are here to help all alcoholics and drug addicts.
We will make every effort to accommodate clients with immediate
needs, same day admissions, short term detox, or treatment
without detox. Please call us and we’ll try to fill your need.
However, we must ask for a fee in return for our service.
Understandably, we are still feeling our way in the world of
fee-for-service addiction services. The Board of Directors
governing the Angus Campbell Centre must assure that our Centre
is financially sustainable. We can say that our initial business
plan and budget is predicated on a daily per person/bed rate of
$255.00, but we must also include the proviso that rates may be
subject to change up or down.
Please call (306) 693 – 5977 for details of rates, payment
methods, session start dates, and space availability. Or, fax
(306) 693 – 0908.
